In this role, you will deliver outstanding enterprise/commercial market research as the business intelligence function which is a part of the U.S. Carrier Business to Business (B2B) organization. You will enable long-term growth via analytics of economic, competitive, and business trends, and identify and evaluate present and future opportunities based on business intelligence standard methodologies. You will support sales leadership directly and partner with other research organizations across the company. You will focus on understanding the data with your industry carrier B2B experience and extract actionable insights which will drive growth. You thrive in ambiguous environments and can collaborate with other teams and partners, while possessing a real passion for technology, innovation, and success.

Apple's Carrier Enterprise Sales in US organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, helps businesses thrive and be agile in outstanding-dented times. We are, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers!

As the U.S. Carrier Business to Business (B2B) Strategic Planning/ Business Development Lead, your responsibility includes developing and growing Apple's overall B2B business with the US cellular network operators that resell Apple products and services to businesses of all sizes. Our comprehensive goal is to improve the efficiency of businesses with our devices while exceeding our targets. We strive to deliver the best of what Apple offers through our carrier partners to U.S. businesses as the end customer.

Key Qualifications

  • Commercial insight experience in complex business markets (small, medium, large, government & education) ideally have deep familiarity with the U.S. carrier route to market (RTM) and product set (preferred qualification).
  • Proven experience in meaningful positions encompassing strategic planning, business intelligence, business product marketing, commercial management, and/or market research.
  • Proven knowledge of relevant business/commercial market drivers across the "value chain."
  • High-level of experience with multifaceted analytical methodologies and how they can be applied through practice in a carrier B2B environment.
  • High level of numeracy and data management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of business trends and their potential impact on the carrier B2B business.
  • Excellent digital literacy (Advanced user of Excel and in-depth understanding of BI Databases).
  • Deliver quality root cause analysis, insight and recommendations for commercial opportunities, passionate about the U.S. B2B market.

Description
- Develop and assess trends and market shifts in the dynamic U.S. Business landscape, making key recommendations that utilize market share and improve profit opportunities for all parties: Apple, carriers, & businesses. Ensure the resources for regular reporting requirements of the business are in place, and of high quality.
- Through a continuous improvement attitude, identify new analytical methodologies and visualization techniques to turn data into insights and action.
- Communicate optimally within the team and with other colleagues, providing consistent support to the U.S. carrier enterprise sales leadership team.
- Represent decisions and recommendations from your analysis to relevant parties within the global B2B virtual research and analytics function.
- Engage with all relevant cross functional & partner teams to help ensure alignment on strategic goals, product launches, etc.

Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree; MBA preferred

Additional Requirements

  • - You have significant experience with wireless carriers
  • - You have experience working with businesses/B2B (vs consumers)
