The Capture Artist takes on the role of domain specialist and provides insightful advice and technical solutions to the topics and problems AppleCare is trying to solve for our customers. This person is able to quickly assess the crux of issues being discussed, knows the solution or determines a solution on the fly, and excels at explaining concepts and solutions in easily understood language. This person will be counted on for everyday software and hardware troubleshooting as needed.

We're searching for someone who wants to take their skills and expertise, honed through years of helping Apple customers, and apply them to tens of thousands of people online, every day.

Key Qualifications

  • Partners with creatives, content strategy and producers, playing a key role in deciding the technical direction of our support content as directed
  • Preps, stages, and maintains multiple products with content and assets that will be used to demonstrate the features and usage of hardware, software, and services in the Apple ecosystem
  • Reviews content throughout various stages of the production cycle
  • Works independently, or with little supervision, recording different workflows on both iOS and macOS, using various pieces of software and hardware to do so
  • Uses Apple software to create artistic content when required and understands that beautiful content can be created with all of our tools

Description

The ideal candidate will:
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Outstanding in-depth knowledge of our culture, hardware and software products, and available services (iCloud, Apple Music, TV+, etc.), their configuration, settings, options, usage, and troubleshooting
- Strategic problem solver, looking ahead and anticipating solutions
- Meet deadlines and keep project leaders in the loop
- Keep up-to-date on the latest Apple products, solutions, and related technologies
- Be a collaborative teammate with a positive attitude, an eagerness to ask questions and challenge the status quo
- Understand when we have to leave good ideas behind (in pursuit of great ones)
- Be willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes
- Video production and graphic design experience strongly preferred but not required
