We are looking for a hardworking CAD specialist to help conceive, design and bring to production highly integrated new products. You will work closely with several multi-functional teams including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Antenna, Reliability, Packaging, Safety and Marketing. Key Qualifications

• Expert 3D CAD skills
• Experience with large assemblies, top down and bottoms up approach
• Understanding of multi-model and contextual model linking
• Experience applying GD&T to fully defined drawings
• Experience with PLM systems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to help and train others
• Experience with creating interface and envelope drawings

CORE

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Product Design Engineers to generate 3D models and Assemblies
- Responsible for large assembly management and DMU
- Creation of 2D drawings (or Model Based Definition) with GD&T
- Support the release of parts and assemblies via PLM
- Support CAD industry practices and methodology
- Lead DMU and packaging meetings

Education & Experience

BS

Additional Requirements

• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• - Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing
• - Significant prior experience in Unigraphics, Pro-E, SolidWorks, CATIA V5
• - Consumer electronics experience not required, serious consideration will be given to qualified candidates from medical, automotive, aerospace and other fields with relevant technology and development models
