As a member of the Logic Technology Development (LTD) Litho Frame Build Automation Team (FBAT) team, you will help Intel realize its vision by enabling efficient, high-quality, and on-time delivery of Frames for all of Intel's products. Frames contain silicon structures that are needed by various semiconductor fabrication tools for optimal functionality.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Developing a design and validation environment that leverages industry-standard CAD tools that allows a large team of Intel engineers to develop Frames for all of Intel's products

  • Developing and maintaining software tools that aid various automation and data management problems related to Frame design while satisfying complex semiconductor process constraints.

  • Support infrastructure needed to build Frame and debug issues reported against it.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related science or engineering fields. Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by December 2021

+6 months of experience in programming or scripting skills, from academic course work, work experience, co-op or internship experience.

+6 months of experience writing UNIX/Linux shell scripts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience with high-level languages like Python or system languages like C, C++

  • Familiarity with CAD tools that handle VLSI design data (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Magic VLSI)

  • Basic understanding of solid-state physics and electronics
