Job Summary:

Raytheon Solipsys is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Missile and Defense (RMD) and Raytheon Technologies (RTX) and an industry leader in the development of integrated C4I Network Centric Defense System solutions. Operating in a dynamic, complex fast based business environment with both commercial and Government customers, we have a mix of domestic and international pursuits and programs and are looking for a Business Development Lead for Battle Management C2 efforts.

Responsible for synchronizing shaping and capture activities with the functional components of the organization and overseeing success in all aspects of messaging, proposal support and successful hand-off for program execution, the BD Lead for BMC2 will focus activities and coordinate assigned efforts to meet allocated annual operating plan targets for bookings, sales profit and cash. This position serves as one of the primary motivational business development leaders within the company who sets the bar for productivity accountability, and integrity for the business. The successful candidate excels in managing internal and external customer relationships and leading dynamic groups to deliver high quality innovative work. This position is 100% remote and must be willing to travel 25-30% to varied locations internationally or domestic as required.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Responsible for the overall capture operations of the BMC2 Programs business area focused on air and maritime as assigned. Coordinates with functional support areas to achieve program success while mitigating corporate risk for captures Coordinates with the other functional areas (such as Program Managers (PMs) and Engineering) to ensure complete and thorough responses in proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications development, product/service cost estimate preparation. Supports Contracts on the negotiation and scoping of contracts for programs Routinely meets with prospective customers to understand and shape requirements to improve position the product line for ongoing success and provide feedback to improve the competitiveness of the product line in air and maritime C2 Coordinates with Raytheon business units for capture activities for domestic and international offerings in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and other pursuits Maintains awareness and recommends product positioning based on trends in Multi-Domain markets to include expansion into adjacent market spaces Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree; preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience; related business and technical industry experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) experience in air and/or maritime operations
  • Experience in one or more of the following: shaping, influencing, analyzing customer requirements or translatable military experience.
  • Experience producing results according to project scope
  • Active DOD Secret level clearance

Qualifications We Value:
  • MBA or other Advanced degree from accredited university or college
  • Experience with integrating Joint kill chains for offensive and defensive operations
  • Knowledge of government customers, IPDS, and capture tools and processes
  • Experience translating customer requirements into successful captures
  • Experience translating requirements into acquisition programs
  • Creative leader/contributor with results-oriented mindset
  • Ability and credibility to operate at all customer levels internationally
  • Demonstrated ability to connect diverse interests and customer needs to determine strategic opportunities and markets in core businesses and adjacencies
  • Communication/presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills at senior levels in industry and government
  • Organizational agility to work seamlessly across a matrix organization
