The role of the Marketing Communications group (Marcom) at Apple is to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications in support of Apple business goals.

As we grow our business in Latin America (ALAC), we are seeking an experienced marketing communications professional to provide strategic, communications, and executional leadership across our product launch and sustaining marketing efforts. The ALAC Brand Manager will be responsible for the direction and oversight of integrated marketing campaigns as well as the strategic marketing efforts required to drive local market opportunities and challenges throughout Latin America. This individual will report to the Geo Brand Lead.

You will work collaboratively across a variety of functions with colleagues from Interactive, Channel, Retail, Partner Communications, PR and Advertising teams. This position requires a deep knowledge of the creative development process, as it relates to both the origination of local / regional marketing campaigns and the localization / transcreation of globally-developed campaigns.

You will interact with key roles at WW and nurture key relationships locally with Marcom Functional Leads, Producers, Retail Product Marketing, Services and Sales organizations.

You are a self-motivated, flexible individual with very strong interpersonal skills. You think strategically, capable of seeing the bigger picture and orchestrating projects to that end. This role requires you to constantly challenge the status quo and seek new and better ways of communicating both internally and externally.

Key Qualifications

  • 8 to 12 years of consumer marketing communications experience in a creatively driven organization or agency.
  • Partner closely with several business partners for strategic positioning and marketing plans integration.
  • Highly collaborative, establish trust, credibility, and influence across multiple partners in a highly matrix organization.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
  • Experience supporting, understanding, and improving the creative process while balancing the needs of a creatively driven organization with an analytical and disclosed approach to marketing.
  • You are a'solutions-first' thinker who can find opportunities to bring to the Apple business in ALAC.
  • Passionate about popular culture, trends, and new/emerging media and technology- especially within Latin America.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Description

You will act as the ultimate subject matter expert for the products and services you lead.

Know the competitive landscape, market share data, key challenges, market trends as well as the social/PR sentiment around those products and services.

Work with the planning team in Cupertino to deliver local market feedback and insights, ultimately driving more meaningful, creative, impactful communications.

Lead all Marcom work for ALAC, ensuring consistency in messaging across all functional deliverables and that overall timelines are met.

Conduct workshops and oversee the ALAC team in attendance at Cupertino.

Provide a single point of contact for launch from an overall process, communications and deliverables perspective, representing ALAC's needs with WW Marcom.

You will partner with Strategy to provide briefings on new product launches to both Geo Marcom and Sales teams.

Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Brand teams to identify and prioritize key marketing challenges and opportunities for ALAC.

Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
