About the Role

Low-flying rotor-craft must navigate to specific goal points while avoiding obstacles, evaluating terrain for safe landing zones, building contingency plans, and performing continuous surveillance

In this role you will be working alongside HMI engineers, pilots, algorithm developers, system engineers and artists to implement next generation interfaces for alleviating aviation workload and exposing high level autonomy to the crew

Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years or professional work experience OR Master’s degree
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Game Design, Interactive Media, or comparable engineering discipline

Basic Qualifications
• Fluent in modern software development, specifically C++ 11/14
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment


Required Experience and Skills
• Solid industry experience or research background in area related to computer graphics
• Linux or BSD experience
• Software engineering tools and frameworks for development, testing, and configuration management (gcc, cmake, Git, Jenkins, etc.)

Desired skills
• Fluent with OpenGL rendering pipeline
• Experience with graphics APIs (OpenGL, OpenSceneGraph, SDL, Qt)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Prior experience or familiarity with developing high performance graphic intensive software on a resource constrained platform is a plus
• Working knowledge and familiarity of basic algorithms and data structures (sorting, searching, trees, graphs etc.) is highly desirable
