Automation Engineers. Multiple openings. Design PLC Ladder Logic, supervisory controls, and data acquisition software for process automations. Review electrical drawings and manage quotes and submittals for instrumentation and controls. Assist senior engineers with validating and supporting control strategy and functional testing efforts and facilitate P&ID reviews and IO list generations. Plan, organize, and prioritize workloads and workload delegations in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadline. Perform in-house and onsite hardware testing for fabricated panels, generate test documents, and execute FAT and SAT testing for automated systems. Perform IO, software integration, hardware functionality, visualization, control, system monitoring, and loop checks. Lead and assist with troubleshooting efforts for control systems and optimize functionalities per user requirements. Implement PLC programming with Ladder Logic using RS-Logix software and create factory batch views, sequential flowcharts, and HMI and SCADA programming using FactoryTalk View, GE-iFix, RS-View 32, and Unitronics. Work with MS Office, SQL Database, AutoCAD, Ethernet, Profibus, Devicenet, Modbus, SFC, Ladder Logic, Instruction List, SQL, Visual Basics, C, and C++. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master's). Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
