Job Summary:

Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain leader to join the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Team in support of our Naval Power Mission Area.

The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for providing supply chain leadership to the program team across the SPY-6 family of programs. In this role, the leader will collaborate across supply chain and other functional organizations to identify and manage opportunities and risks in the supply chain, and engage suppliers to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.

The ideal candidate will draw from extensive supply chain, product, program and business experience to ensure effective execution, in alignment with program objectives. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, business acumen, technical aptitude and strong collaboration skills. The ability to effectively work with Cross Business Teams, Integrated Product Teams and Capture and Program Managers will be a key to the Supply Chain Leads success.

This position will be located in Marlborough, MA, or Andover, MA and will require approximately 25% of travel.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including competition, partnering and teaming for major product items.
Manage overall supply chain process for the product area.
Manage all interfaces between the program office and suppliers and partners.
Lead strategic engagements with critical suppliers and partners.
Manage supplier capability assessments as well as supplier readiness.
Ensure quick resolution of technical and programmatic issues by leveraging and integrating the capabilities of the entire organization.
Provide the Captures and Programs with real-time oversight and monitoring of all supply chain activities in support of the business area and product line needs.
Facilitate critical dialogue and discussion between the Subcontract Partner and members of the Capture and Program.
Coordinate actions among Raytheon Seapower and other Supply Chain Managers, Integrated Product Teams/Cross Product Teams, Program Leads and Engineering.
Manage the relationship between supplier/partner staff and Raytheon counterparts.
Participate in and contribute to Subcontract Management Reviews, Performance Assessments, technical meetings and audits.
Identify needs for resources and solutions relating to major subcontracts / subcontract partner.
Identify risks and opportunities; develop and execute plans to mitigate, relative to the major subcontracts.
Support Material Sales Forecasting and drive performance to Annual Operating Plan.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience in Supply Chain, Program Management or similar business operations.
Experience in managing a supply base (including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and/or supply chain execution).
Experience managing contracts or subcontracts
Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, approximately 25% of the time
U.S. Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance within one year of employment. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

Advanced degree in relevant Business or Engineering
Working knowledge of Supply Chain best practices
Procurement/Acquisition compliance, such as FAR/DFAR and/or other regulatory regimes
Certifications in Supply Chain or Program Management
Experience interfacing with all levels of internal and supplier management
Experience in Raytheon IPDS, Risk and Opportunity Management and Statement of Work development or similar processes
Ability to understand financial information, budgets, program performance and develop strategies to improve performance in these areas.
Change management and organizational effectiveness experience
Strong analytical abilities, ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources related to planning and scheduling
Experience in various business models and contract types
Experience using PDM and PRISM, or other design and/or MRP systems
Exemplary oral and written communication skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others. Strong presentation and organizational skills; keen attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers and team members
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified

Working Environments:

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.
