Job Description:
We are seeking an engineering leader with experience in SLAT, Transmit / Receive Multi-Channel Module (TRIMM), and high-power module development and production programs. This position is for the LTAMDS SLAT Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL). This position will reside within the Electrical Products Team (EPT) under the Antenna and Microwave Department (AMD).

This IPTL position has significant responsibilities of leading and coordinating the LTAMDS SLAT development and production. The IPTL will drive all technologies from design to sell through our multiple customers. The IPTL will be required to develop and communicate strategic plans across all functional organizations including engineering, operations, supply chain, customer engagement, etc., RTX divisions and Businesses for current programs and future new ones. The IPTL is also responsible for directing and managing product roadmaps, capability enhancements, producibility, product budgets, cost, staffing and schedule for multiple programs and IRAD efforts reporting performance through multiple levels of leadership and with the external customer base.

Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, control account ownership, guidance and direct interfacing with customer organizations as well as working groups, program management, and a Raytheon multi-disciplined team to provide customers with validated production SLATs to meet program needs and acceptance criteria.

Specific duties include:
  • Integrated Product Team Leadership responsibilities for the overall technical execution of production, integration, and test of LTAMDS SLAT Hardware
  • Provides oversight of new business proposals, schedules, and financial performance for SLAT related activities
  • Supervises and performs Hardware Configuration Items (HWCI) development and qualification
  • Ensures that requirements are effectively and efficiently implemented in the hardware while controlling cost and risk
  • Ensures that the hardware is producible, and that best manufacturing process are implemented, and appropriate quality assurance (QA) practices are used
  • Verifies Manufacturing Plan and Schedules are attainable
  • Participates in the programs Configuration Change Board (CCB)
  • Maintains drawings, models, and other artifacts that comprise the Technical Data Package (TDP)
  • Develops Estimates at Completion (EAC) and leads the engineering estimating process for SLAT related activities
  • Directly interfaces with Program Leadership and ARMY Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO) customer technical community
This position requires a current Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications you must have:
  • Minimum 12+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in developing cost proposals and development strategies
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT / CBT) or similar environment
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience, with ability to achieve EVMS Level 2 Certification
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
  • Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following: Design and Technical Design Package (TDP) development, production, fabrication, integration assembly, and customer support experience with SLATs, TRIMMs, or High-Power Modules.
  • Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Math)

  • Success in working directly with a USG customer
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively transition programs from design to manufacturing
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership and communication skills to drive team performance
  • Advanced degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Software Engineering
