Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group! We lead all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. In the role of Associate Creative Director, you empower a team of world-class art directors and designers to create concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. You have a deep love of Apple and Apple products, and you will direct work that captivates both current and potential customers for one of the most beloved brands.
Screens are a focal point for many Apple devices. In product art direction, screen content is key in showing the incredible things our devices can do. We're looking for an Associate Creative Director that will be an integral leader of the team, with the responsibility of leading the development of innovative and compelling creative. You will craft clear, inspiring, and alluring on-device storytelling for our products-from conceptualization to delivery.
Key Qualifications
You're an influential leader that drives our group toward results - brainstorming, coordinating, and collaborating frequently in order to bring Apple's key elements of design to life. You dream of working in a creative and dynamic environment and embrace the opportunity to continuously enhance the brand. Possess an eye for aesthetic and know how to create a powerful story through the work. You'll lead the successful creation and production of screen content assets, following creative direction, product briefs, and driving long-term screen content strategies that move the Apple brand forward. Having a macro and micro mentality will be key. Guidance of the team towards excellent design in accordance with project constraints and parameters. Creation of persuasive presentations to executive staff members.
The ACD, Screens will partner closely and cross-functionally with Human Interface Design, Interactive, Brand and Production teams. Knowledgeable about the latest Apple OS systems, Apple Software programs, and UI elements, along with the apps and other inspiration to keep content fresh. You will use your experience and intuition to help the team navigate ambiguity. With skillful communication, you will debate and prioritize input from different functional groups and executives. Knowing how to quickly react to new information, opinions, and direction and understanding when to strategically pivot is critical. You'll build content that reflects Apple's values, and that is culturally relevant. Provide thoughtful guidance to your creative staff with attention to detail on career pathing, mentorship, and guidance is a lasting attribute!
Education & Experience
BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or a related field preferred.
