Assistant Professor, Tenure Track Position

 

The University of Minnesota is seeking a scientist with documented backgrounds and interests in hardware and software based solutions for radio-frequency safety problems in MRI. This position will also support software and hardware development and modeling for coils utilized by other CMRR researchers on the MR Scanners.

Requirements

Candidates will have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or similar degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Background and training should include research experience in a combination of the following domains: MR and Radio Frequency in Ultra-High MRI fields, RF Coil design and MRI electronics for the next generation, and electromagnetic simulation for medical devices and MRI applications. The successful candidate will be expected to complement and add to the unique capabilities that exist in the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR, www.cmrr.umn.edu) in high field MRI.
