The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for two faculty positions: one is at the Assistant Professor level, and the other one is an Endowed Chair Professor position, both starting in Fall 2020.

 

Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline. For the junior position, applicants need to demonstrate great potential to establish a solid research program in key areas of interest: circuits, electronics, and power systems. For the senior position, the department is looking for a well-established scholar with a strong funding and publication record in key areas of interest: information security, smart and automated systems, and Internet of Things. Successful applicants are expected to develop a vigorous externally funded, globally recognized research program. They should also possess a passion for and be committed to excellence in both undergraduate and graduate education.   

 

The ECE department at Stevens currently has 23 full-time faculty, including 1 NAE member, 5 IEEE Fellows, and 3 NAI Fellows. Faculty are dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation of electrical and computer engineers and technical leaders through innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful research and education programs.

 

Stevens Institute of Technology is a private university located in Hoboken, New Jersey. The 55-acre campus is on the Hudson River across from midtown Manhattan within a few minutes from NYC via public transportation.
