The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels in all areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UT Dallas has almost 50 faculty members, approximately 575 EE and 525 CE undergraduate students, 300 EE, 15 TE and 125 CE graduate students, and offers BS, MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, as well as MS and PhD degrees in Telecommunications Engineering. Areas of research expertise include microelectronics, communications and networks, hardware security, signal processing, applied machine learning, embedded systems, analog electronics, power and energy systems, and systems for healthcare.  Of particular interest are candidates with a research emphasis in signal processing and applied machine learning: especially speech synthesis, speech modeling, speech physiology, speech understanding/dialog, language-based machine learning/AI, and brain/neural engineering; as well candidates in emerging technologies related to micro/nano-devices and manufacturing: including RF/microwave/THz devices, packaging or heterogeneous integration, Antennas/meta-materials/meta-surfaces and device technologies related to AI accelerators. Emphasis will be placed upon candidates at the Assistant Professor and Associate Professor levels.
