Assistant/Associate Professor – Biorobotics/Rehabilitation Engineering

The Biomedical Engineering Department at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites faculty applications in the research areas including Biorobotics/Rehabilitation Engineering, Injury Biomechanics and Mechanisms, and Neural Engineering; a neuro-engineering is preferred. The position will be at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor beginning the 20-21 academic year.

 

Research expertise should fit and benefit from our collaborative research activities within the department, the Centers of Research at NJIT and neighboring institutes including the Center for Rehabilitation Robotics: centers.njit.edu/rehabilitation and the Center for Injury Biomechanics, Materials and Medicine (centers.njit.edu/cibm3). Specialties of interest include biorobotic design and fabrication, neural engineering, neuro-rehabilitation engineering, nervous system injury and orthopedic injury, sensors and control systems, computational and experimental biomechanics.
