Job Description

The Assembly-Test Manufacturing QRE will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Develop, apply, and maintain quality and reliability standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Evaluate the materials process and techniques used in production. to meet the requirement of products and production equipment.
  • Specifies inspection and testing mechanism conduct quality assessment up to and including audits and perform statistical analysis to determine the responsibility for products and systems. that do not meet the required specifications.
  • Delivers standardization in product qualification manufacturing. quality systems and methods.
  • Provide feedback to BU TD and/or partner engineering group on design or method and statistical process control procedures including manufacturing systems in HVM.
  • Determine reliability requirements and automated screening methodologies of components and systems to achieve company customer and any governmental agency reliability objectives.
  • Develop new acceleration techniques analytical tools and quality screens to assure the early identification of potential problems with new product packaging processes and product quality reliability.
  • Respond to customer requests or events as they occur.
  • Make recommendations for changes in design or formulation to improve the system and/or process/product reliability.
  • Identifying and working with all key stakeholders to provide day-to-day timely support for Chandler Assembly Test factory to meet quality requirements for samples and revenue shipments.
  • Define and implement new quality systems as needed and improvements to existing systems through early engagement and stakeholder participation.
  • Define and implement strategic initiatives like early signal detection to take timely action to minimize excursions in the factory.
  • Ensure quality system readiness for certification and ramp in Chandler Assembly Test factory to ensure no quality escapees from the factory. 
  • Plan and execute Quality Systems Readiness Assessments Ramp audits and drive gaps closures to ensure the factory is ready for high volume manufacturing.

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:


The candidate must possess at least one of the 2 following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below :



  • The Candidate must possess a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering Material Science Metallurgy Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics.

  • 2+ years of experience in Packaging Assembly, high volume manufacturing product test methodology or standards.
