Job Description

The Assembly Equipment Supply Chain Manager/Group Leader role is a challenging and critical position responsible for delivering innovative solutions to highly complex technical and commercial supply chain challenges. This role will focus on the strategic development & management of the Assembly equipment supply chain supporting pathfinding, technology development, and manufacturing. Managers are responsible for setting priorities for the team, delivering results across boundaries, ensuring an inclusive work environment, developing employees, and managing performance.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced people manager with supply chain experience, who is recognized for trailblazing Intel's cultural transformation.

 

The Assembly Equipment Supply Chain group leader will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Convert technology and business requirements into actionable supply chain strategies and tactics as they relate to GSC cost, quality, availability, and technology objectives.
  • Coordinate teams to deliver key supplier account and commodity strategies, managing supplier performance, driving supplier quality improvement roadmaps, and supporting ATM factories to deliver quality incident-free supply chain, partnering with TD to deliver innovative supply chain solutions for equipment and collaterals, executing supplier development and ramp milestones.
  • Negotiate and execute contractual requirements with suppliers - driving cost reduction opportunities and developing future cost strategies.
  • Identify problems in complex systems, deliver results while demonstrates creative approaches, strengthen mission-critical systems and processes, define and drive strategic results, and guide blended teams in resolving major challenges that impact multiple technology or supply chain environments.

  • Business acumen, technical depth, organization savvy, and networking expertise including exemplary communication skills to get results across multiple groups and disciplines.
  • Expertise driving complex business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure and supply ramp, including collaboration with engineering, legal, finance, and supply chain operations.
  • Expertise in synthesizing complex information into clear messages and can adapt style to address a variety of audiences.
  • Willingness to work in a high-performing team culture includes: setting high expectations, driving performance to those expectations with a high sense of urgency, role modeling the desired culture, teamwork, and leadership skills, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Skills in defining, negotiating, and managing supplier collaboration and purchase agreements.
  • Skills to inspire a team to achieve desired behaviors and objectives.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study with 9+ years of experience.

 

2. Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study with 6+ years of experience.

       Experience should be in: 

  • Supply chain management and 3+ years of direct people management experience.
