Architect 5— Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, Philadelphia, PA.
Provide technical leadership within teams responsible for the creation of all customer facing digital systems used to provide ecommerce and self-service capabilities, as well as for serving as the digital front end for all Comcast Business products; deliver web applications, mobile applications, and their supporting backend platforms; design digital product experiences and software integration architecture, including using XML, RESTful API architecture, microservices, and message-based architecture methodologies to perform enterprise-scale systems architecture, and utilizing data architecture principles to perform relational and NoSQL database design; lead teams of software engineers and define the end-state strategic integration architecture for the digital platform; partner with stakeholders to transform their requirements into actionable functional architecture for the engineering team; partner with other engineering teams to determine how to leverage other platforms in the ecosystem to meet stakeholder requirements; define and document integration architecture for the digital backend platform; utilize software modeling to design software that conveys functional details of how to implement features; drive software design through engineering team sprints to ensure code has the functional coverage to meet the expected outcome; author and accept technical user stories; analyze and determine how different components of distributed systems interact and how individual system react in the ecosystem; and guide and mentor junior level engineers.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience performing model-based software design; of which five (5) years includes using XML and RESTful API architecture to perform enterprise-scale systems architecture; and utilizing data architecture principles to perform relational and NoSQL database design.
