AppleCare is a key part of the Apple ecosystem, providing integrated support and service that empowers our customers, helps them get the most from their Apple product and contributes to our industry-leading customer loyalty. As part of the global AppleCare organization, the AppleCare US Field Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing and executing strategies to provide support and engagement to drive growth of AppleCare business across all products and in all channels in the US including Carriers, Consumer Resellers, Education, Enterprise, and Apple Retail.

We are seeking a skilled sales professional who will work closely with the AppleCare account teams representing our various channels. You will conduct a needs assessment to understand the current landscape and partner with the worldwide AppleCare team to develop new tools and engage directly with the various sales teams to plan the proper execution of field support. This role is is scoped to support the US sales organizations but the expectation is that methodologies will be shared with other regions and that new strategies and processes will be developed with the thought of how they could be adjusted to be equally successful outside the US.

Reporting directly to the Americas AppleCare Sales Director, you will partner extensively with the channel managers to understand sales trends, account and channel patterns, increase mindshare, and identify creative ways to drive awareness and promote AppleCare within the channels and accounts. The role currently has 3 direct reports.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years in field management with channel/account management experience in the Telecom or technology industries and with proven success selling in a services or insurance sales environment
  • Experience leading a field organization coupled with in-depth understanding of retail and expertise in the B2B space
  • Thrives in complex environment with multi-channel and multi-partner engagement and can operate at any level of an organization (from a store representative to a C-suite level both internally and externally)
  • Inspires direct reports and greater field organizations to be passionate about and drive AppleCare solutions
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable in a matrixed environment
  • Utilizes data, trends, and field feedback to create strategies that respond to specific needs or an overall growth plan
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to understand channel needs, develop tools and training plans, and drive the execution at field/market level to support growth goals
  • Strong influencer of internal sales teams and channel partners using strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates creativity by approaching obstacles with new solutions
  • Excellent leadership and presentation skills
  • Passionate about the customer experience and "the last 3 feet"

Description

In this role you will collaborate closely with your channel counterparts and the rest of the AppleCare organization to find new ways to drive AppleCare awareness, revenue and growth.
- Deeply understand each of our channel's structure and develop strategies that support each and respond to their specific needs
- "Pull the thread" by utilizing field resources to gain market intelligence on specific topics
- Work with sales enablement team on crafting training solutions that address channel needs
- Report back on findings from the field to rest of AppleCare team and influence required changes that will drive better results

Education & Experience

MBA in business or related field or equivalent expe
