We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning and development. This position requires phenomenal communication and presentation skills, strong analytical skills, project/program management experience and a demonstrated track record of developing team members.

This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Key Qualifications

  • A proven track record as a Training / Learning manager within a customer support company
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in Instructor development and Instructional Design
  • Excellent presentation, classroom delivery, and facilitation skills
  • Expert level knowledge of instructional design process
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects within tight timeframes
  • User experience with Mac OS is a plus

Description

In this position, you will lead a team of Instructors to meet the training needs of our new campus in Raleigh, NC. This role will also support the AppleCare Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) delivery strategy.

Responsibilities include:
Act as the point of contact for addressing the training needs at the Raleigh site.

Develop Instructors' skills to be on the cutting edge of world-class classroom and virtual delivery.

Manage the training schedule for Raleigh and virtual deliveries, and ensure high-caliber training is delivered consistently across the sites.

Encourage continuous improvement by constantly observing training, providing feedback, and sharing best practices.

Demonstrate leadership by encouraging new ideas and organizational innovation.

Build strong relationships with key partners, and collaborate across business organizations to achieve common goals.

Execute strategies for implementing training and organizational development initiatives.

Support Instructors while encouraging their development.

Partner with the Design team to ensure that all training materials are current and reflect standard methodologies.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 6-8 years work experience in a training and development field.
