The AppleCare Support organization is rapidly growing, entering new markets and supporting innovative new features across our products and services. This is an opportunity to join the Strategic Quality team, leading a regional Quality Metric Support organization chartered with providing various teams within AppleCare vital intelligence to improve the customer experience as well as ensuring global evaluators are aligned to AppleCare Quality Standards. You will help execute our portfolio of programs by using a blended team of internal and supplier resources.

This position will be based in Austin TX, or remote

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs of management experience
  • Understanding of Quality Management processes; Calibration, Quality Standards, & Accuracy Measurement
  • 3+ yrs in a senior role accountable for performance targets being met
  • 3+ yrs working in or exposed to Quality programs within a Customer Service organization
  • 2-5 yrs as a senior project/program manager leading small to large cross functional projects
  • Excellent and effective verbal, written communication skills, strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to manage internal and vendor teams to meet project deadlines and timelines
  • Comfortable engaging with a wide variety of internal and external partners
  • Ability to think differently, provide new solutions to old problems and have a "can do" spirit
  • Ability to interpret complex analysis and communicate effectively to customers
  • COPC, Six Sigma or process certification preferred
  • Travel Required - 10-20%.

Description

In this position, you possess a solid understanding and can demonstrate the principles to successfully run a business while leading a diverse group of top performers. In addition, you demonstrate the proficiencies of project and program management, quality monitoring, data analysis, calibration and measurement. You will also manage internal customer expectations and relationships while executing services through a blend of internal and supplier resources.

You are a strong team leader, a phenomenal communicator skilled at presenting to all levels of leadership, and a business savvy individual who has an excellent understanding of Apple's outstanding customer focus and passion for excellence. You possess and demonstrate the ability to develop compelling new services, roadmaps to execute and a deep understanding of influencing without control while turning observations from your team into actionable intelligence.

You effectively coordinate resources and activities across a distributed team and handle a variety of activities and complexities across the broader Strategic Quality organization. You are an effective negotiator, skilled at balancing resources and conflict management. A critical key to success is the ability to gain alignment by proactive partnering with all levels across the organization.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
