Apple's Worldwide Education Strategy team is growing, and we encourage you to apply. We're looking for an experienced educator who is passionate about learning communities to create professional growth and transformative experiences for educators and third party providers who support the integration of Apple technology into K12 and higher education environments. You'll work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and accountability are expected.

This position is home-based and can be located in any major city within the US.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in education and instructional or learning experience design (LXD), with a focus on K-12 and higher education.
  • Ability to create end-to-end learning experiences and build a consistent learning journey that truly shapes the future.
  • Expertise in collaborating cross-functionally with partners of different backgrounds and perspectives while ensuring alignment and consistent messaging across multiple stakeholders.
  • Superb writing and editing skills, with deep knowledge of instructional design models while developing complex scope and sequences from scratch, independently.
  • Well-versed expertise in learning platforms, curriculum development, lesson planning, educational technology, and creating content for multicultural audiences.
  • Proven experience writing video and/or audio scripts as well as instructional text and courses.
  • Proficiency with Apple's ecosystem and presentation software applications, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand, and Clips.
  • Ability to learn, navigate, and create within learning management systems with little to no oversight to analyze build, edit, and assess curricula for all different learning environments (asynchronous and synchronous, classroom-based and virtual).
  • Passion and self-motivation, with excellent organizational, time/budget management, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional decision-making abilities, tenacity, conviction, and attention to detail.

Description

As a member of the Apple Professional Learning Team, you will:
- Design, write, edit, evaluate, and maintain professional learning content for educators within the Apple Professional Learning area of the Apple Education Community.
- Identify professional learning needs, objectives, and engaging content that will support the ongoing growth of educators by working cross-functionally with Apple Professional Learning Specialists, Edu Sales, and Marketing to ensure the voice of the customer drives innovation.
- Leverage various modalities by creating resources which professional learning can occur within the Apple Professional Learning Community.
- Develop private community areas to support Apple Professional Learning key programs and audiences worldwide.
- Develop valid modes of assessment that correlate to measurement of customer success and work collaboratively with the Marketing team on the analytics for the reporting of key data including content views/downloads; membership metrics; logins, etc.
- Promote and participate in intra- and inter-team innovation, technology integration, process improvement, and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date on and apply best practices in educational technology, learning theory, and instructional design.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Masters or Doctorate degree preferred

Additional Requirements

  • - Proven experience in education, instructional design, educational leadership, and/or educational technology with success as an instructional and or content leader.
