These high-profile, highly respected organizations are positioned at the junction of Apple's engineering teams, partners that supply core component technologies, and manufacturing.

Key Qualifications

Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE)
MDEs are responsible for the development and implementation of high precision mechanical fabrication processes in a high-volume environment for Apple products. They are accountable for driving the development of key manufacturing processes across Apple's worldwide supply base. In this hands-on role as a technical expert, you will frequently collaborate with Apple Industrial Design, Product Design, Manufacturing Design partners and worldwide suppliers.

Operations Program Manager (OPM)
As an OPM, you will influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and maximum flexibility while stewarding the highest standards of product quality expected of Apple's products. A successful OPM communicates with ease at all levels; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence; and brings calm and control to even the highest- intensity projects.

Quality Engineering (PQE and MQE)
Quality Engineers are passionate about the customer experience and ensure Apple is making the highest quality products. They are responsible for driving quality improvement actions on future products, manufacturing process and developing plans to validate / verify new products at each NPI development milestone. Our Quality team thinks critically and creatively about how to improve products, challenge the status-quo, and act as the voice of the customer.

Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME)
AMEs are responsible for designing precision assembly and manufacturing processes for Apple products. They perform the research and development on innovative, new technologies necessary to tackle complex assembly and automation. They engage machine suppliers for automated equipment design reviews and proposals, travel to machine suppliers and contract manufacturers for equipment bring-up, qualification and acceptance testing during ramp.

Global Supply Manager (GSM)
Apple GSMs own the commercial relationship with our manufacturing partners and are responsible for cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk management, driving operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change, as well overall project execution. GSMs sit at the intersection of Apple's business activities and engineering communities, and effectively balance the needs of both groups to ensure successful product launches.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering, business, supply chain or related experience.
