The Apple Online Store is looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial senior software engineer to join the AOS Engineering team. You will deliver projects aimed at improving the hugely successful AOS. AOS is Apple Inc's global e-commerce platform present in 30+ countries with 25+ payment methods and a rich feature set. You love rolling up your sleeves and collaborating on a multidisciplinary team and be passionate about exploring groundbreaking technologies

Key Qualifications

  • Distributed message based architecture at high scale
  • Object Oriented Design, NoSQL data design, Data Structures, Algorithms, Concurrency, Async Service Calls, and REST
  • Messaging: Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent
  • Design and build of PCI DSS and SOX Compliant Systems
  • Encryption and hashing algorithms: AES, SHA, MD5, PGP
  • Caching technologies: Hazelcast, Memcache, Redis
  • Databases: Oracle, Cassandra, Couchbase, MogoDB
  • Languages and Frameworks: Java, JEE, Spring, JPA, REST
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Excitement and passion to work on amazing products
  • You excel in a fast-paced and dynamic development team
  • Experience in architecture or API design


Work closely with other engineering team members and interacting with product, design, content, QA and many other groups to lead and deliver extraordinary engineering products in an exciting dynamic environment.

Your work will focus on building high throughput, high performance, reliable solutions in areas related to cart, product upgrade/activation and checkout domains that support Apple online stores.

You will join a best-in-class team and collaborate cross-functionally with other teams around the world to deliver architectural upgrades for our Apple Stores (

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of relatable experience.
