The Apple Media Products Engineering team is one of the most exciting examples of Apple's long-held passion for combining art and technology. These are the people who power the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books. These engineers build secure, end-to-end solutions. They develop the custom software used to process all the creative work, the tools that providers use to deliver that media, all the server-side systems, and the APIs for many Apple services.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in the subscriptions commerce space, including both technical and business expertise
  • Expertise in driving customer experience, growth and engagement for digital subscription services
  • Experience in launching new products and features working closely with designers and engineers
  • Experience in driving system architectural discussions and driving a scalable platform development
  • Understanding of financial impact of subscription revenue management. Experience in subscription revenue accounting managing multiple performance obligations will be a plus
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines and drive results while balancing many priorities and under tight timeframes
  • Comfortable with deadline driven work environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity as this role will evolve based on strategy and product priorities
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Experience in enterprise application like SAP will be a plus

Description

This Product Manager will work to align on priorities across all Apple services teams.
Use insights and data to create strategy and features that drive both engagement and revenue.
Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.
Work across many teams at Apple to communicate product requirements and deliver features, striving for the best customer experience, and with willingness to make smart compromises as necessary.
Be a specialist on understanding the financial impact, understand the competitive landscape, and propose new ways to innovate.
Additionally this role will need to capture business requirements from internal teams as well as external partners . Document the requirements in a clear and actionable way
Work with ambiguity at the requirements level, and help to define what will be built for a long-term platform, seeing around corners for future needs
Own the overall business activities of the program management between various business and engineering teams

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree required. Business Information Technology specialization is preferred
