We're seeking a manager who can lead and develop a large team of hard-working individuals while maintaining an extraordinary developer experience. You're a savvy leader, a caring coach, a broad-minded innovator, and a passionate team member. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive key improvements and new ways of working. You are essential in helping App Review achieve operational excellence by leading members to achieve both team and individual goals and by providing extraordinary service to Apple developers and customers.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years validated experience leading, mentoring and developing a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Validated ability to execute and deliver on commitments and motivate change
  • Strong ability to influence people with or without direct authority
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, hands on business-minded professional, with a high level of discernment and a natural curiosity about improving business processes
  • Experience in business operations, process improvement, relationship management, data analysis and the ability to build measurable action plans
  • Deep knowledge of the App Store ecosystem and the App Store Review Guidelines
  • Proactive outlook to problem solving and a willingness to adapt to a highly demanding, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with the developer program, and passion to provide extraordinary service to developers
  • Passionate about Apple culture, values, and the employee experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Numbers, Keynote, SQL, Radar and Tableau

Description

Support specialists on skill and performance development via structured mentoring and coaching processes, 1:1 meetings, team meetings, and performance reviews

Develop and coach specialists on driving top performance and career growth

Seek out opportunities to enhance specialists' performance in support of Apple's developers

Define operational metrics and develop reporting tools, as needed, for business partners and leadership to understand business performance

Partner with global cross-functional business partners, engineering teams and senior management to identify and define solutions to operational challenges

Synthesize large amounts of information and data to create a clear story digestible to different audiences, including specialists, senior managers, etc.

Participate in capacity-planning process, work with Workforce Management on staffing plans, and partner with the People team on recruitment

Utilize data to tell a story and build influence

Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or equivalent experience. Advanced degree a plus.
