We are seeking a motivated and proven app development specialist to be an App Frameworks Evangelist, supporting and mentoring participants in the Apple Entrepreneur Camp program.
This role offers the chance of a lifetime to directly impact a new generation of apps being developed by innovative and diverse thinkers! You'll work closely with Camp participants and help them understand how to design and develop compelling, modern, and state-of-the-art apps for iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
We are looking for candidates who possess a passion for Apple technologies, have an eye for good design, demonstrate expertise with frameworks and technologies such as Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Multitasking, Accessibility, and ARKit, and live and breathe Apple development. You have strong communication and people skills and a passion for working with and supporting app developers in a positive and collaborative way.
Key Qualifications
Working one-on-one with 3rd party development teams to ensure they're taking full advantage of Apple frameworks and technologies within their apps.
Providing ongoing technical guidance and mentorship to current and past participants of the Apple Entrepreneur Camp program.
Performing engineering reviews to find opportunities for optimization, modernization, use of best practices, and the adoption of key Apple frameworks.
Leading hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers with the adoption of specific iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS technologies.
Working with Apple engineering teams to advocate for the requirements of 3rd-party developers.
Identifying, documenting, and communicating developer progress, trends, and technical issues to teams within Apple.
Education & Experience
B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Software Design Engineering
