Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) group is seeking a highly motivated, energetic engineer to lead the Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) systems pathfinding efforts. As the material handling domain for Intel's semiconductor manufacturing facilities, we are responsible for highly complex, large scale systems in a 24x7 environment. This role will be responsible for systems integration pathfinding, requirements and standards definition, test and validation, program, and project management, and bringing systems in production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading pathfinding efforts in new areas of systems integration in AMHS domain (equipment and payload) from concept through fab implementation.
  • Leading the integration of overall capability roadmap and requirements specification in partnership with stakeholders, supply chain, factory automation, and suppliers.
  • Driving supplier technical roadmap and cadence including technical review meetings to ensure Intel's needs are met.
  • Collaborating with partners across Intel and securing resources to fulfil Intel's needs as it relates to new capability and roadmap intercept.
  • Leading Intel efforts in development and publication of industry standards as required
  • Leading pathfinding program management including program operations and integration review meeting

Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
8+ years of experience in:

  • Robotics, mechanical, or material handling systems design, test, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Leading design decisions in mechanical or material handling systems
  • Stakeholder, supplier, project and program management
  • Data Analysis and Statistical Analysis (e.g., with SQL, JMP, Python, etc.)
  • Computer Aided Design tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing factory experience
  • Experience with AMHS systems
  • Experience working with SEMI industry physical interfaces and carriers' standards (e.g., E84, etc.), SEMI E10 metrics standard, and how to apply the standards to large scale AMHS systems.
