The IS&T Partner Systems team is responsible for collaborating with Apple's Logistics providers to ensure IT infrastructure and desktops effectively support Apple's current and future needs. As a project manager on the IS&T team you will work to ensure these sites allow users to be productive, efficient and secure

We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working PM to drive a variety of Apple IT Infrastructure projects and initiatives in the Americas region. This new member of the team will collaborate with Apple's strategic third party logistics providers, Business partners and other internal IS&T teams to support multiple sites in U.S., Canada & Latin America

Key Qualifications

  • 7 years of Information Technology experience
  • 5 years of experience and proven track record of successfully leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Network architecture and understanding of key concepts and technologies such as WAN, LAN, Remote Access, VPN, Content Delivery, server room infrastructure, power management and IT Change Management
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform for MacOS and iOS
  • Strong organizational skills: Ability to organize and complete multiple projects of varying lengths. Good documentation skills essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • High degree of comfort working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Extremely strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus and can embrace change with a positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, non-technical language
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and foster trust by delivering on all commitments
  • PREFERRED SKILLS
  • CCNA, PMI/PMP certifications a plus
  • Supply Chain Management / Logistics Operations highly desired

Description

Responsibilities include partnering with Apple suppliers to ensure solid execution of site IT infrastructure implementations, changes and other services. This individual will need to have the right mix of project management experience in addition to technical skills with a good understanding of network, desktop and server room architecture. There is heavy emphasis on positive partner relationship building and the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization

Will lead and/or participate in ongoing vendor health checks to review and assess IT infrastructure components including system architecture, processes and tools. Looking for someone who likes to learn new things, work with others to solve complex problems, analyze trends to innovate and find new opportunities to improve business efficiency

The successful candidate will be required to lead projects as well as oversee and assist with ongoing system support issues including troubleshooting, analyzing and problem resolution with keen focus on continuous improvement in Apple's fast-paced environment

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements

  • Domestic and international travel is required
