The scope spans a multibillion market from DC to server edge, numerous segments, customers, and partners across HW, SW and tools, competitive analysis, and benchmarking. This role allows you to apply and grow AI workload domain knowledge and combine it with being responsible for delivering a competitive Xeon AI roadmap.

The mission of the AI Product Strategy Planner is to plan and secure approval of a roadmap which delivers acceleration across the entire AI pipeline and best TCO for our customers.

  • Set detailed silicon landing zone feature and performance requirements for CPU, memory and I/O as well as overall distributed system requirements.

  • Continually grow your understanding of AI workloads and technology to inform the long-term roadmap requirements

  • Work with others to merge your understanding of AI technology and workloads with the use cases in different market and segments such as 5G and HPC

  • Effectively communicate the Xeon AI strategy to Intels technical community and Xeon product teams so they can understand both the specific requirements as well as the intention and objectives

  • Creatively communicate product strategy and value prop to non-technical audiences and management to build confidence and support to the Xeon AI mission

  • High impact engagement with cloud and other customers in which they can clearly understand the value of Xeon and we are deepening the engagement and listening and learning about what customers need

  • In addition to the long-term Xeon roadmap, you must be driven to want to be the omnipotent steward of the strategy and be everywhere in our matrixed company to ensure the execution, GTM and marketing aligns with the strategy.

  • Have a high impact in a highly matrixed environment and can lead by being in service to your peers. Build relationships and trust between the teams, and influence without formal authority


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.  MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of experience combined in architecture, design and/or product planning and product management of compute solutions.  Silicon planning experience is a strong requirement.

  • 2+ years of experience with ML, DL or analytics software and compilers

  • 2+ years of additional experience defining business strategies and technical product requirements

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
