Siri's Engineering Efficiency team is focused on building tools and infrastructure to create a frictionless development for AI/ML developers. We are focused on innovating the experience of Siri engineers - letting them focus on their best work without worrying about time consuming workflows and outdated tools.

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Working experience and deep understanding of large scale software, object oriented design, distributed systems and multi-threading
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, strong problem solving skills, critical thinker, and self-starter
• Working experience with Python, Swift, JavaScript
• Passion for the customer experience, and obsessive about details

We are looking for a software engineer who wants to bring their passion for building incredible infrastructure to support a device lab focused on testing the next generation of voice assistant technology. You will develop innovative technology to support end to end Siri testing on all Siri supported hardware. In this role, you will be working with teams across the whole Siri organization and very different roles including, but not limited to, other ambitious engineers from machine learning, text-to-speech, and audio teams, lab managers and admins, etc.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for an engineer who has experience with scaling distributed systems and can help solve infrastructure problems holistically with the future in mind.
- Responsible for full stack code for maintaining and monitoring Apple products with a device lab
- Being able to prioritize tasks and lead projects to completion
- Innovate new features to increase transparency, reliability and uptime for our customers

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience is required
