Job Description

We're looking for an AI Frameworks Engineer to join Intel's Neural Compute Engine's Ecosystem Enablement Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement Neural Compute Engine support for third-party frameworks.
  • Optimizing frameworks for performance, latency, and power.
  • Making ML models from anywhere run great on Intel hardware.

You will need to live in the PST/MST time zones.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience, with the following experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in modern C++

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing modern compilers, especially with LLVM and MLIR.
  • Experience with modern machine-learning model primitives.
  • Experience with several machine-learning frameworks.
  • A background in performance analysis and optimization, particularly in machine-learning.
  • Linux and Windows system programming experience.
  • Low-level device programming experience.
