Our technology and services power advertising in Apple News and Apple Search Ads on the App Store. Our platforms are highly performant, deployed at scale, and set new standards for enabling effective advertising while protecting user privacy

We are looking for an experienced Ad Certification and QA engineer to help us ensure the highest standards of advertising across the platform. We're looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role in a dynamic environment. You are an ambitious individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Your responsibilities would include ad content review, design and implementation of policies, test plans and ad review processes

Key Qualifications

  • Incredibly detail-oriented and able to navigate grey areas effectively
  • Experience working in quality assurance role in web and mobile related fields
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
  • Strong verbal, writing communication, organization and time management skills required
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of advertising and ad content review
  • Familiarity with Apple products and services, especially MacOS, iOS
  • Experience in scripting, automation and Python a plus
  • Proven bug detection, isolation, and regression skills
  • You have the bility complete repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Able to manage exposure to unusual, sensitive, and/or obscene content
  • News addict, informed about pop-culture, slangs, controversial and current events

Description

You will ensure logical and meaningful review of Ad/URL content, deliver high-quality content review consistently and accurately
You will think both quantitatively and qualitatively to evaluate and address unusual, harmful, or sensitive content. Identify and report issues, patterns, and trends on the platform
Oversee policy enforcement for an assigned platform to ensure compliance processes and procedures are integrated and aligned with business processes
You will conduct UATs for existing and upcoming policy enforcement tools
You will develop test plans, test cases, and test reports for internal and external web portals
You will train and manage ad review contract resources
You will communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and cross-functional teams across time-zones
You will work independently to effectively prioritize and manage your time by learning and using various internal tools to review and moderate content on the platform
You will develop innovative solutions to maximize content moderation efforts
Direct adjustments to existing processes and policies, as required
Inform appropriate Management about issues that may involve policy violations or potential liability. Assist Management to implement adequate controls and ad review processes
Ensure escalations have all information needed and reach the proper audience so actions can be taken
