Manufacturing Engineers learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They develop manufacturing engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and RMS systems and tools. MEs build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.

**Please Note: This position will be on 2nd Shift. This position will initially begin as a 1st position and will transition to second-shift after becoming familiar with the role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Improve cycle time and lead time
  • Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
  • Create and oversee improvement projects
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Perform hardware defect analysis
  • Participate in corrective action investigations

An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.

This position can be Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer I or Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer II depending on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Manufacturing Engineer I
  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Preferred degrees: Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Experience/education with project execution
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Manufacturing Engineer II
  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and two (2) years of relevant experience or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Preferred degrees: Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Experience/education with project execution
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
