The European Operations Department (J66E) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide systems engineering support to the USEUCOM Directorate of Operations (J3) / Joint Cyber Center (JCC). In this role, the successful candidate will apply systems engineering and mission analysis skills to enable and enhance USEUCOM full spectrum Cyberspace Operations (CO). Expected activities include requirements development, doctrine analysis, mission analysis, support to deliberate planning, multinational engagements, and collaboration across multiple US Commands and Agencies and coalition partner nations. This position is located in Stuttgart, Germany.


Key Functions:
Provide on-site systems engineering and missional analysis to the USEUCOM JCC customers. Assist the future development and operations of Cyber and its integration with overall USEUCOM and Global Operations.
Support a diverse set key JCC activities, serving as a thought leader to shape the Commands strategy for cyberspace operations and integration with the broader Command processes and functions.
Provide independent assessments and recommendations.
Areas of support include: mission analysis, course of action development, and process development/refinement
Application of the principles of joint operational planning and systems engineering to JCC initiatives to horizontally and vertically integrate JCC planning and operations with USEUCOM Components, USCYBERCOM, other Combatant Commands, the Inter Agency (IA), the Intelligence Community (IC), and Joint Staff (JS) and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).












Required Qualifications:
Experience working in one or more areas of cyberspace operations.
Demonstrated ability in assessing current DoD and multinational community policy, standards, architecture, and technologies as a basis to lead development of proposed courses of actions, strategies, and plans.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Candidate must possess a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Combatant Command, Joint, and multinational operations.
Understanding of Joint Operational Planning Processes and experience with deliberate and contingency planning.
Experience with, and understanding of, DoD cyberspace policies, doctrine, and community.
Ability to self-manage assigned work, work with minimal supervision, work in small cross-functional teams, and interact effectively with the sponsor and senior-level decision makers.
Effective communications with senior military and civilian leadership and staff within USEUCOM, with external agencies, and partner nations.
Demonstrated ability to leverage an extensive MITRE network to achieve sponsor outcomes.
A demonstrated history of comfort working away from a robust MITRE support network.
Previous experience working SAP/STO programs.


Minimum Qualifications:
BS and 8 years related experience.
