Job Details

UAF Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty Position. The ECE Department is now accepting applications for a tenure track faculty position at the level of assistant professor starting in August 2018.

 

Applicants must have a B.S. degree in electrical or computer engineering and a Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering. Outstanding candidates in all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered. Preference will be given to focus areas of power or computing that can develop externally funded research programs. Duties include teaching broadly at both the undergraduate and graduate level, conducting externally funded research and performing university service.

 

UAF is a Land, Sea, and Space Grant Institution, Carnegie classified as Doctoral University with higher research activity.

 

Fairbanks has approximately 100,000 residents, located in interior Alaska between the Alaska and Brooks mountain ranges, and noted for a large variety of cultural and outdoor activities.
