This position is for the F-35 TSSC Manager position for the RAAF Williamtown Australia location as an expatriate employee. This position is responsible for the management of all Level 2 TSSC operations. The TSSC manager is responsible for providing inputs to proposals based on government requirements to include; developing design approach, project schedules, staffing requirements, preparing Basis Of Estimates (BOE), developing Statements Of Work (SOW), assisting in contract negotiations, and preparing and presenting project briefings

The TSSC Manager will:
• Maintain routine interface with the Government Quality Assurance Representative (QAR),
• Maintain required staffing levels,
• Monitor employee training and currency,
• Establish operating policies/procedures,
• Report TSSC performance to the Training Sustainment Program Manager,
• Attend Performance Evaluation meetings with government representatives as required,
• Participate in, and provide artifacts for, weekly meetings,
• Perform TSSC engineering support duties as required,
• Meet with the government or Contracting Representatives as required,
• Evaluate and monitor engineering team performance to ensure quality execution, standardized support is maintained throughout the life of the contract period,
• Support the Quality Management processes and ensure the team is compliant

Basic Qualifications
• F-35 Training System Experience
• Demonstrated systems engineering experience with an understanding of the total lifecycle for complex hardware/software systems including experience with sustainment of fielded products
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels (up / down / parallel) both within an organization and with external stakeholders (customers, users, suppliers)
• Demonstrated experience in an engineering position on a program with formal change management processes requiring interaction between multiple engineering teams, customers, users, and suppliers
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Project / SharePoint / Access
• US TS or Aus TSPV security clearance required

Desired skills
• Understanding of F-35 Training System design and capabilities
• Experience with Joint operational and/or training experience
• Prior Engineering Management Experience
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Control Account Manager (CAM) experience;
• Earned Value Management Experience
• Experience working with military pilot and maintainer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Understanding of F-35 Training System design and capabilities
• ITAR and/or TTC trained
