TI/APB Systems Integration Engineer supporting Submarine C3I SWFTS Systems Integration and Test Activities. In this role the successful candidate will focus on APBs, Operability, and Requirements Verification as a part of the overall I&T operations on the program

Responsibilities include coordinating the efforts of a team of test and system engineers, setting priorities, and providing status to the SWFTS EPM and Program Management. Responsibilities will include the implementation, test, documentation, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of integrated system architectures.

This position will support team, and respond to actions quickly. Must be able to synthesize SI&T needs and requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Solve hardware/software interface problems through individual effort and/or direction of team members.

This position is required to understand System Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents and Software Requirements Specifications. As well as, developing test certification documents as needed. Requires the ability to interface with customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency. It's important, in this position, to foster a good working relationship with the Customer and make the Customer comfortable that their requirements have been translated and integrated into a total solution.

The successful candidate for this position must be willing to work off-shift and extended shifts in support of program milestones and support dockside test events, as necessary

- Experience writing test plans and procedures
- Experience conducting system level testing
- Ability to conduct technical analysis of product anomalies and communicate effectively the resolution to the problem

Desired skills
- Knowledge of model-based/object-oriented design/testing concepts.
- Software coursework or direct experience
- Experience testing hardware/software interfaces as a part of an end-to-end solution
-Undersea experience
