This position supports the Long Range Stand Off (LRSO) Program and is a team member of the Systems Test & Evaluation IPT (Integrated Product Team) consisting of Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) and Space Systems Company (SSC) members with primary responsibility for the support of test and evaluation of mechanical parts and component hardware. The candidate will currently hold, or will be required to obtain, certification as a Certified Test Conductor. This position will coordinate test activities with program personnel and compile program derived test requirements. Taking the test requirements, the individual will develop test planning and author assembly and test procedures in support of the test activity using the Automation Framework (AF) tool. They also will coordinate the fabrication, procurement and assembly of required test equipment. The individual will need to select and coordinate the integration of the required instrumentation for the test activity. In addition to the above activities, the candidate will conduct the tests and generate all required documentation, including test reports and verification sheets. The candidate will also be required to status the activities and maintain a Microsoft Project Schedule of the activities. This position will be responsible to manage several activities simultaneously in different phases of coordination, design, fabrication and execution. The candidate filling this position will be required to work autonomously without oversight by more senior Engineering Staff. Will be expected to mentor more junior engineers. Travel required to various test locations

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
- Working knowledge of system engineering processes to include verification and validation
- Must be familiar with integration and testing hardware at component and system level
- Must be willing/able to travel
- Updated and Active Secret Clearance

Desired skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal and external customers
- Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools
- Knowledgeable of SSC’s Certified Test Conductor (CTC) program or be a current CTC
- Experience with Conops for the US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with Cruise Missile Weapons Systems or Similar Launch Systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
- Experience with Automation Framework (AF)
