Job Details

This requisition is for a Digital/RF/Software Integration and Test Engineer. Individual must have the necessary skills to integrate a Design for Test process utilizing both Hardware and Software development concepts on Digital, RF, and Software Test Stations. Integrating software diagnostic tools and tests on various Digital & RF test systems within the Product Test Organization. Analyze various Program Trouble Reports (PTR’s) and Software Trouble Reports (STR’s) and implement appropriate software updates to optimize Product Test performance. In-depth knowledge of software development/modification to a variety of programming languages (ex; LabView, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, and assembly languages in Unix and Windows environments) will be required. Individual will be required to generate Program Release Notices (PRN’s) and software requirements documentation. In addition, on the hardware side the individual will be required to have in-depth knowledge of Digital, Analog, and RF electronics with basic RF theory in the Gigahertz range. The skills needed are experience with: testing and troubleshooting of, Digital, Analog, and RF, Hybrid microcircuits, components, Board and Box level for Commercial and Military products; using Hewlett Packard /Agilent Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Frequency Counters, etc; use of Oscilloscopes, along with various models of Multi-meters, Logic Analyzers, etc. Project coordination and leadership is required to oversee multiple projects, teams, to develop a Design for Test Process transitioning Test Systems from Engineering into a Production environment. Requires the ability to write procedures, review, demonstrate, update, and release to records. Individual needs to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows software (Office - EXCEL, WORD, Access, etc). Personal characteristics must include Flexibility, Adaptability, Leadership, and Self-starter requiring a business insight with minimal direct supervision. Must be able to work both individually, as part of a team, and able to interact and work well with both internal/external customers. Applicant must be available to work as required to complete projects, off-shifts, weekends, modified work-weeks as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training/experience is required. This position requires the ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of Analog/Digital; Circuitry Equipment knowledge, Oscilloscope knowledge, High Frequency measurements, Testing, Troubleshooting, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, perform "Root Cause Analysis" on System, Unit, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and at the component level. Analyze the Test System with respect to hardware and software related issues. Perform modification to a variety of programming languages (ex; LabView, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, and assembly languages in Unix and Windows environments) will be required. Individual will be required to generate Program Release Notices (PRN’s) and software requirements documentation. Proficient in writing WBOE's with back-up justification. Authoring procedural and software requirements documentation. Adherence to Quality Procedures within the Product Test organization.
Must have fine motor skills in Testing / Tuning of Hybrid Microelectronics circuits
Ability to lead a team successfully. US citizenship is required for this position
