Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Pennsylvania, Florida and Alabama

We are currently seeking an Avionics Engineer for System Integration Test activities, in CT. Responsibilities will focus on the following:

• Integrate and Test new cockpit with legacy components on a Blackhawk platform. Generate test procedures and reports for test activates.

• Primary technical responsibilities will be development of detailed test plans and reports of avionics systems including controls and displays, communication systems, navigation systems, and mission avionics systems for S-70i aircraft. Candidate should have a BS degree and 4-7 years’ Avionics experience
• Should be familiar with Avionic 1553 bus architecture and test equipment and troubleshooting of system level problems
• Previous experience with of Avionics and Electrical Ground Flight Test Activities a plus

Basic Qualifications
Must be effective working in highly collaborative team environment to accomplish program objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
- Working expertise in the design, analysis, development and operation of aircraft systems and avionics sub-systems
Skills/Knowledge Preferred: 4 to 7 years of related experience
- Strong Computer skills: WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, VISIO, DOORS
- Knowledge of Mil Standards, Digital Busses architecture (ARINC, 1553)
- Knowledge of Test Methods and Lab Procedures
