Seeking an Avionics Engineer with a demonstrated ability to Test and Integrate, and qualify Avionics systems for the world’s leader in vertical flight solutions. You will work with a talented team of engineers and analysts to develop test requirements, oversee System Lab design and development, and perform system integration on military and/or commercial helicopter programs
Responsibilities will focus on the following:
• Primary technical responsibilities will be development of detailed Test Plans, Test Reports, conduct System Integration testing of Avionics Systems including Controls and Displays, Communication Systems, Navigation Systems, and Mission Systems, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and manage Lab Configuration.
• Work with customers, partner companies, suppliers, and Sikorsky technical leaders
• Familiarity of Avionic 1553 and ARINC 429 bus architecture and test equipment and troubleshooting of system level problems a plus
• Previous experience with of Avionics and Electrical Test Activities a plus
• 10% Travel Required

Basic Qualifications
• 0–2+ years experience
• Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering and Avionic Systems and the ability to read schematics and trouble shoot hardware. Understanding and knowledge of working with standard test equipment such as Oscilloscope, DVMs and standard Test Equipment. Assisting in the building and documentation of System Integration Labs
• Familiarity with Military and/or FAA certification standards
• Knowledge of Mil Standards, Digital Busses architecture (Ethernet, ARINC-429, MIL-STD- 1553)
• Experience with advanced navigation systems for civil, tactical area navigation and RNP/RNAV test and integration
• Experience with Flight Test planning

• Strong teamwork, organization, verbal and writing skills
• Leadership skills and experience are desired
