The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is growing its faculty in the area of Mobile Systems, and is seeking faculty candidates for a tenure-track position in this area.  Specific examples of expertise include, but are not limited to, wireless technology, sensor applications, energy management, environment-aware applications, network services, security/privacy, computer architectures and cloud services. Candidates who transcend traditional boundaries between computer engineering and electrical engineering are highly desired.

Successful candidates will be expected to develop and direct an independent research program of international caliber, teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses; supervise graduate student research; participate in university faculty governance; and contribute to professional and public service.
