Four faculty positions in Data Science, AI or Systems.

The School of Computer Science at Carleton University in Ottawa,
Canada invites applications from qualified candidates for four
tenure-track appointments in Computer Science at the rank of Assistant

Three of the positions are in Data Science/Data Analytics or AI. For
AI, we are particularly interested in Machine Learning and other parts
of AI that are relevant to Data Science. The fourth position is in
Systems, specifically Operating Systems, Distributed Systems and
Networks. For the systems position, a fit with our existing Security
group will be considered a strong asset.

The School has 30 full-time faculty members and particular research
strengths in bioinformatics, computational geometry, computer
security, big data analytics, databases and information systems,
graphics, HCI, high-performance computing, and networks and
distributed computing. The School offers a Bachelor of Computer
Science degree and graduate programs at the Masters and

A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required. Candidates
should provide evidence of strong research potential and should have a
commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and
graduate level.
