The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Kansas State University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) beginning August 2018.    Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in electrical and computer engineering or related discipline, a strong publication record, a commitment to research and teaching excellence, and the potential to develop a vigorous extramurally-funded research program and participate in collaborative and interdisciplinary research. Outstanding candidates will be considered for open endowed positions.  Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, computer vision, cybersecurity, cyber physical systems, and network science & engineering. 


The College of Engineering at Kansas State University is adding 35 additional faculty over a five-year period. It is the most comprehensive engineering college in Kansas, with over 4200 undergraduate and graduate students. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has 25 faculty members and approximately 470 undergraduate and graduate students. The department is located in the new Engineering Hall equipped with the state-of-the-art research laboratories, classrooms, and office spaces. The department has strong research programs in power engineering, electronics, wireless communications, network engineering, and biomedical engineering.


Kansas State University, with its enrollment of approximately 25,000 students, is designated a Carnegie Doctoral/Research-Extensive Institution and has declared its goal to be a top-50 public research university by 2025. The College of Engineering is located on the main KSU campus in Manhattan, KS.
