Job Details

The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Engineering. Applicants are expected to have a doctorate in engineering or a closely related field. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring an applied research focus at the interface between physical and digital systems. The candidate is expected to develop an externally-funded research program, outstanding publication record, and to provide excellent teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The position will support the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program. The MEM is jointly delivered by the Thayer School of Engineering and the Tuck School of Business and attracts a capable and diverse student body from across the globe.

 

Dartmouth College is an Ivy League institution that values both teaching and research and emphasizes interactions among the Thayer School of Engineering, Tuck School of Business, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and the Arts and Sciences faculty of the College. Thayer School teaches interdisciplinary engineering, offering an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Engineering degree program, as well as a full MS and PhD program, along with the Master of Engineering Management degree.
