Tenure-Track Faculty Position
Assistant Professor – Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology invite applications from outstanding individuals for a tenure track assistant professor faculty position with primary focus on power and energy systems. The anticipated start date is August 2018.

Preferred research interests: high performance power electronic devices and systems, wireless power transfer, energy storage systems, cost-efficient power and energy systems with reduced environmental impact, smart-grid and micro-grid modeling, integration, and security.

Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. degree in a related discipline and have a proven record of research and teaching. We seek candidates with demonstrated ability to conduct research at the highest level, and with a commitment to outstanding teaching and mentoring of students. The successful candidate is expected to attract funding to develop and sustain active sponsored research programs, teach core undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and develop new courses related to their research expertise. Screening of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
