Carrier Corporation has an opening in Farmington, CT, for a Technology Lead, Model Based Embedded System & Software.

 

Define & execute strategy to develop & deploy model based design workflows & technology platforms in embedded systems & software dvlpmnt process. Own WHQ dvlpmnt of technology roadmaps for model based design workflows & technology platforms in Embedded Systems & Software & responsible for prioritization & execution of roadmap capability dvlpmnt. 

Requirements

Must possess at least Ph.D. or its equiv. in Electrical Eng., CS or rel. field & at least 3 yrs of prior work exp. w/application of model based design & qualification for embedded system & software. In the alternative, a master's or its equiv. in Electrical Eng., CS or rltd fld & at least 6 yrs of prior work exp. w/application of model based design & qualification for embedded system & software. Must also possess at least 3 yrs of exp. w: applying & developing model based methods & technologies for design & verification of embedded systems & software; system & software architectures, real-time & performance analysis, embedded software & communication protocols, i/c Linux OS configuration & programming; in modeling embedded systs. w/languages such as Modelica, Simulink/Statflow, UML/SysML, SystemC, as well as use of hardware emulators & full system simulation for embedded software testing in simulated environment; state-of-the-art industrial tool-chains based on Matlab/Simulink, Polyspace, Dymola, Rhapsody, Doors & product life management tools (e.g. IBM Jazz); & dvlpmnt process for embedded systems, i/c safety-critical embedded systems, requirement capturing, analysis & tracking, MIL, SIL, PIL & HIL technology, tool-chain integration, embedded software architecture, build & test automation.
