This position will support the ATLO Test Systems Organization (EGSE/STE) performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions to fabricate hardware. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Evaluate requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. Conducts research and assists in investigations of anomalous work. Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out. Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others, will assign/status work and schedule work flow.

This position will lead and perform duties in support of assembly, wiring, and testing fabrication of Electronic Ground Assemblies. Performs complex cable, chassis and rack level assembly, rework, and repair. Additional tasks include connector assembly, wire preparation, crimping, torqueing, board cleaning, component preparation, hand soldering, electromechanical assembly, continuity / isolation testing and acceptance testing. Coordinates with Engineering to plan and perform work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Works with minimal supervision to accomplish tasks

Basic Qualifications
-Ability to assemble, fabricate, wire, and test Electronic Ground Assemblies, Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)/Special Test Equipment (STE)
-Ability to fabricate cable/chassis/rack level assemblies as well as rework and repair those assemblies
-Ability to review engineering drawings and provide insight to design team on manufacturability
-Ability to provide guidance to junior staff
