Job Details

Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems. Provides expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots product and modifies product to customer requirements. Provides training to customers. Work may be done at customer site. Includes software systems and programs designed for customers (corporate and individual) and government entities

Support to set-up, check-out, testing, troubleshooting and operations of satellite tracking ground antenna and electronics systems

Maintains technical expertise in all areas of satellite tracking ground antenna and electronics systems, to include receivers, transmitters, servers, routers, multiplexers, antenna control units and other items. Evaluates and reports on equipment inventory and physical configurations.

Ability to interpret mission requirements and provide input to and author mission support plan configurations and plans

Ability to travel in support of satellite tracking ground and electronics systems to remote and/or ocean-going locations worldwide

Basic Qualifications
• Experience in reading and interpreting communications, signal, electrical and mechanical prints, drawings and related technical documentation
• Recent (not more than 3 year since Military separation), with a Minimum of 3 years of prior Military Satellite Antenna Systems or equivalent experience
• Experience in accomplishing installation of equipment, cables, cabling, building of custom cables, cable and equipment labeling, physical configuration audits (PCAs), and redlining of provided prints, drawings and technical documentation
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide equipment orientation and training to others
• Ability to lift, carry and move components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Minimum of Final DoD Secret clearance is required to start for this position with intent to submit for Top Secret clearance if not already granted

Desired skills
• Current Security+ and/or Hardware and/or Networking related certifications
